Julie and team were very kind to us, they were very helpful and guided us through a very difficult time.

Julie listened to what we wanted and advised us when we weren't sure what to do.

From my first contact with staff I was treated with respect. They fully understood that this was a difficult time for me. Visits to see my mam were no trouble. The staff who attended the funeral were very professional and the Humanist was very good.

While many of us have had to attend funerals, most of us have rarely had to organise a funeral, mercifully. I can therefore wholeheartedly thank the Coop funeral service in Bishop Auckland for helping me through the process of organising the event and making sensible choices along the way. Significant behind the scenes work was clearly done and the result was a moving and meaningful cremation service with extremely well presented hearse and cortege on the day. My thanks to all who played a part and I recommend the Coop's funeral service should you find yourself needing to face this difficult task.

Just remember to let customers know if there are issues eg lack of coffins. If you are having an appointment with a customer don’t keep nipping out to answer the phone etc Reading at funeral excellent
