Always going to be a very difficult thing to plan a funeral. I lost my beautiful mum and from the start of collecting mum from home and to funeral home, chapel of rest and church, I can not fault the service I received. Michelle was so lovely, sympathetic, knowledgeable, friendly, professional and made my journey so much easier. She made my mum look like my mum

This funeral home was part of the Ilkeston Co-op Funeral Service, which opened in May 1994, and was then incorporated into the A.W. Lymn group in October 2003.
The funeral home is run by funeral arranger Michelle Ibbett and overseen by funeral director Mick Schofield. The office is open from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
If you need assistance after hours, you can always call the telephone number at any time, seven days a week, and arrange an appointment at your convenience.
The premises offers one client parking space, a reception area, family rooms, visiting rooms and cold room facilities.
The branch gives a discount to Co-op members and also offers Ilkeston Co-op Funeral Vouchers and Ilkeston Co-op Funeral Plans.
The Ilkeston office covers all of Ilkeston and its surrounding area including Awsworth, Cossall, Eastwood, Heanor, Kimberley, Kirk Hallam, Langley Mill, Loscoe, Shipley, Smalley, Stanley, Trowell, West Hallam and beyond.
Nigel, Matthew and Jackie Lymn Rose are the directors of the A W Lymn group.

From start to finish my mum’s funeral was perfect. Absolutely breath taking the horse’s and carriage was. Ushers were all so lovely, caring and helpful. Michelle in the office was brilliant I personally thanked her the day after my mum’s funeral. Church was beautiful. Priest put my words about mum altogether beautifully. Can not thank them all enough.

From start to finish everything was amazing. The staff were supportive towards all of the family (Michelle especially) nothing was ever too much trouble. They knew just the right things to say on the day that would make us smile/laugh through the tears. Everything we said was listened to and then they would oversee things to make it as easy as possible for us to deal with. I would certainly recommend to anyone.

We found Lymns funeral services excellent. They were very compassionate and took their time to make sure we were able to have the funeral for my Dad that was right for us has a family. Mark who did the eulogy was very kind and gave us time to talk about Dad so he was able to really deliver the eulogy has if he knew him. He was very kind.
