Our family have always used Fairhursts so there was no hesitation choosing them for my Dad's funeral. From the first moment I phoned them on the day he passed away I received nothing but kind, compassionate service from each member of staff I dealt with. We mostly dealt with Jane and Peter, both were lovely and made such a sad occasion a lot easier to bear. Happy to have left my Dad in their care and would also recommend Fairhursts for that personal touch.

From start to finish wonderful care, consideration and service. Jane has been excellent throughout. On the day the funeral Director Peter and Jordan were fantastic. A very sympathetic and understanding friendly team that met all my needs and requirements.  I used this service for my father eight months ago and did not think twice about returning to them for my mother’s funeral service.  I would highly recommend this team to anyone they are so friendly and professional nothing is too much for them they take all the stress and anxiety regarding a funeral service from you and guide you step by step.

R.A Fairhurst &son were very professional, kind and respectful.
I have never organised a funeral before and Jane was fantastic. Jane explained everything that would happen and helped me with elements of the funeral I wanted. I would highly recommend R.A Fairhurst.

We were in very safe hands with Jane and the team, the care that was given to mum, dad, my brother and me was incredible we were guided through everything effortlessly.  The day of the two funerals was seamless and very professional from start to finish.

The kindness and dedication of all the staff that I’ve come into contact with at this difficult time has been truly amazing.  Jane in the office deserves a mention, her empathy is matched only by her organisational skills.  Peter the funeral director on the day was also excellent.  All aspects of the funeral were outstanding and everything run like clockwork.  The celebrant Mia was truly amazing, I had to remind myself at times that she wasn’t part of the family!  The tribute page has also been a source of incredible support for me.  Thanks so much for everything that everyone at Fairhursts has done for me.  Choosing them to organise my late wife was genuinely one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, thank you.

My mother left specific instructions for a very simple but personal service. Fairhursts have been fantastic in ensuring all her wishes were carried out perfectly. Everyone in the team has been respectful, empathetic and supportive. The pre-care, service and aftercare have all been brilliant. It's been a very stressful few months for our family and Fairhursts have played a major role in making things easier for us.
