From start to finish (and we didn't have a funeral pre-arranged) everything was spot-on. Can't thank Roy enough for his professionalism, courtesy and support to the family throughout the process and also Andy (the Celebrant - humanist) who we really felt spent time to get to know Michael through our stories, another lovely fella. It seems daft to say it but I know mum will be planning her funeral through the Coop after the support and excellent communication we got. Thank you.

Very helpful and sensitive staff with thoughtful suggestions. The anxiety was significantly decreased as I was contacted regularly to check things - but each time the first question was "how are you " . On the day the funeral director was extremely curteous and respectful. This is the first time I've organised a funeral but I would certainly recommend the Co-op.

At such a difficult time we couldn’t have asked for a better service from the Coop.From initially making contact with us Roy and the ladies in the shop were outstanding.Nothing was to much trouble for them.Dads funeral was perfect,exactly as we wanted They all went over and above to make sure it went as we planned

Overall a really good experience. Co-op staff were accessible, professional, knowledgable, helpful and kind. My mother's funeral was everything we wanted and went without a hitch. Sourcing a great bagpiper was an unexpected bonus.
Many thanks to Roy, Julie and the Co-op team.

One area for improvement would be more expertise/familiarity with outsourced tech aspects of the process, ie: choosing, producing and approving the order of service; clearly communicating photo tribute & streaming specs and options, so that these can be more clearly described to more tech-aware customers. To their credit Co-op staff always remained professional and never became defensive even when put under pressure on these issues, but it might be beneficial to have some extra training or specialised tech resource to call on as this becomes a more mainstream part of the funeral offering.

I received an excellent service from the Co-op Funeralcare in Morpeth, the team are absolutely brilliant and make the arrangements easy and smooth, so you don't have to during this very difficult time. They looked after my Mum while she was in their care and supported me in carrying out all my Mum's wishes. I cannot recommended them highly enough.
