A.W. Lymn Arnold did an incredible job. Everything ran smoothly and we couldn’t have asked for anything better.
St. Albans House, situated in Arnold, was opened in 1996 by Alison Maddaford, the president of the National Association of Funeral Directors at the time, and extended during late 2012. It is now run by Russell Kemp who has a very good knowledge of Arnold’s people, ministers, churches and customs. Russell gained his Diploma qualification with the National Association of Funeral Directors and is assisted by our funeral arranger Jessica Raynor. Beryl Spencer and Jodie Ruth are the receptionists / administrators.
A.W. Lymn's Arnold branch features a parking area, reception, two private reception rooms, two visitation rooms and also a visitation suite with an adjoining room where the family can spend time in private. There are also cold room facilities and a small memorial showroom.
Russell, Jessica, Beryl and Jodie will be more than pleased to offer any assistance you require, whether this is ’at need’, or simply an enquiry for the future. The funeral home is open from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday. All A.W. Lymn funeral homes are also open at any time by appointment and the telephone line is available every day of the week, 24 hours a day.
This branch covers all of Arnold and the surrounding areas including Calverton, Daybrook, Epperstone, Killisick, Lambley, Lowdham, Oxton, Redhill, Woodthorpe and beyond.
A.W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service is managed by Nigel, Matthew and Jackie Lymn Rose, who are keeping the family tradition in providing the best service for bereaved families since 1907.

From the moment I contacted A W LYMNS all the stress of organising the Funeral was taken from me.
I knew that I could rely on their caring and professional manor and that my loved one was in good hands.
Everyone says how beautiful the Funeral/Service was and I agree everything from start to Finnish was a credit to A W LYMNS.
I now have to pick myself up and get on with my life but I can take comfort in the fact that My Wife Of 45 Years had the best send off possible

I have never arranged a funeral before, not only did I have to deal with the loss of my mum, but had to arrange the funeral. AW Lymn we’re fantastic, they sorted everything, they were on hand to answer any questions and give advice. Staff were friendly. The day ran so smoothly. They gave Mum the send off she deserved.

Russ kemp come to our home to sort out the funeral arrangements he was lovely.
The staff on the day were very kind on the day. The hearse was silver and one car driver lovely went through countryside to the cemetery. Great service from a wonderful considerate company Russell then drove us back home.
