It is difficult to put into words our experince as a family but, here we go!
Our Dad was transported from home to Lymns Nuthall Road and as a family we made the right choice.
From the outset Jahnet was welcoming & extremely helpful. Jahnet called & introduced herself and said that she was looking after Dad and following a brief discussion we arranged to come into the office the following day.
Jahnet explained that we would need to obtain 'the green certficate' from the Coroner as soon as possible as this would help smooth the process of arranging the burial but, unbeknown to us our GP didnt follow the correct procedure. Thank goodness Jahnet was there to guide us and chase the GP to get the correct information to the Coroner in a timely manner.
From the initial meeting with Jahnet to the day of the funeral Jahnet held our hands. You can tell that she genuinely cares for her customers. She was truly just amazing and we cannot thank her enough. She is a great asset to Lymns.
We would also like to thank the funeral Director on the day Teresa. It was just amazing how she got my grandson to play a pivotal role in the funeral as the flag bearer. So unexpected but wonderful.
We as a family just want to express our gratitude for the wonderful customer service

AW Lymn's Aspley funeral home is located at Rose House, on Nuthall Road, and was opened in September 2000. This funeral home is run by funeral arranger Jahnet Wilks and is overseen by funeral director Tony Knowles who has worked for the company for 35 years.
The Aspley office features public rooms, private family rooms, visitation rooms and cold room facilities. This branch covers all of Aspley and its surrounding areas, such as Basford, Bulwell, Bilborough, Hyson Green, Kimberley, Nuthall, Radford, Strelley and beyond.
The opening hours are from 9 am until 5 pm, from Monday to Friday but as with all of of AW Lymn's offices, you can arrange an appointment at any time to suit you, any day of the week. The telephone number is available from Monday to Sunday, 24 hours a day.
The Lymn Rose family has managed A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service since its establishment in 1907, when it was founded by Arthur William Lymn. Nowadays, his descendants Nigel, Matthew and Jackie Lymn Rose continue making sure all families have the best service in difficult times.

What can I say. A massive massive thank you to Jahnet Wilks for your caring support, your empathy and understanding and your determination to help us create the perfect day for Karl. I was terrfified when I was tasked with organising this mammoth funeral, but Jahnet stayed in touch, listened, communicated and was always one step ahead of any potential problems. I'm crying as I write this because I cannot thank her enough. I was in the second family car, and didn't get the name of our driver but he was amazing, respectful but joined in our humour and made us so comfortable, chatting to Karls boys and making sure we were comfortable. And thank you to Nigel for your care, your attention to detail and your personal touch. Your staff are a credit to your company and as Karl's family we want to extend our gratitude for helping us organise the perfect funeral for our precious Karl. Although you were recommend to us, we still decided to call around before deciding to choose your services; what a waste of time that was! We chose Lymn’s because we found the website really useful and before even making contact we had a good idea of what we wanted for thee funeral an an idea of cost. The first telephone conversation was extremely helpful and informative, (which is just what you need when you don’t have experience of arranging funerals). We were grateful for the guidance provided by the Funeral Arranger, who also kept us updated throughout the process and helped to accommodate our cultural needs. More importantly, mum’s body was treated with dignity and care. At the cemetery the Pallbearers went that extra mile by making sure my disabled uncle could get to the graveside. One of them even helped with the backfilling, (which I will never forget). Lymn’s overall professional and sensitive approach ensured that my mum was given a beautiful and dignified funeral.

An excellent run Family Funeral Service.
Jahnet Wilks is an outstanding lady. Jahnet helped explain ever single detail when we asked question and made us feel so at ease and so comfortable through our sad time.
I would recommend A.W.LYMN to anyone who loses a loved one, they are so caring and understanding. I know my husband is in good hand with these amazing people.

Having known Alan for so many years I was saddened by his death but felt privileged to be involved on the day of his funeral. I thought that the show of friendship and support outside his hotel was very touching and it was so appropriate that the funeral cortege was led by the two “Mods on Scooters”.
