A.W. Lymn's Long Eaton office is located at Lime Grove in Long Eaton, which is in peaceful surroundings inside the cemetery gates at West Park.
The site was purchased from Dick Webb funeral service in 1981 and opened as an A. W. Lymn funeral home in June 1982.
The building was the local public mortuary and features an unusual copper roof. As well as a large reception area, the premises features family rooms, visiting rooms, funeral cars from A.W. Lymn's fleet and parking on the outside, and it was completely refurbished in 2013.
The funeral home is run by funeral director Louise Bramman and is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. If you need assistance or to meet with a funeral director after hours please call the telephone number, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The branch covers all of Long Eaton and its surrounding area including Breaston, Castle Donington, Chilwell, Draycott, Hathern, Kegworth, Sawley, Sutton Bonnington, Toton and beyond.
Nigel Lymn Rose, along with his sister Jackie and his son Matthew, manages A. W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service, ensuring all families receive excellent care at all times.

Louise was fantastic, everything went well with Mums funeral planning. I requested that Mum have a haircut, she hadn't had one for months, and Louise did a lovely job.
I request some flowers with blue in them..amazing blue roses with pink and white, looked fantastic. Can't fault the care that was shown to both Mum and family.

I highly recommend A W Lymn. My father recently passed away and we had initial meeting with Laura, Laura was lovely and really helped us relax, explained everything very clearly. We were also able to get dates booked during our initial meeting which really helped us prepare for the planning the funeral. Louise was also extremely helpful and attended on the day of the funeral. Laura was great with communication and helped compile the Order of Service.
Only thing I would say is that the crematorium details were missed off the Order of Service, which we didn't notice, it would of helped all attendees if this information had been included, having said that, we managed to communicate this to family and friends.
Thank you so much to all who helped us in giving our Dad a great send off.

AW Lymn from Long Eaton provided a truly wonderful service at this difficult time. Compassionate, caring, totally professional, nothing was an issue in any way. They treated my wife Karen with beautiful dignity and arranged a first class celebrant , Malcolm, to make the funeral a true celebration. Laura at the base was so helpful and caring, and Louise and the team on the day were exemplary as well as friendly.
