A.W. Lymn's Long Eaton office is located at Lime Grove in Long Eaton, which is in peaceful surroundings inside the cemetery gates at West Park.
The site was purchased from Dick Webb funeral service in 1981 and opened as an A. W. Lymn funeral home in June 1982.
The building was the local public mortuary and features an unusual copper roof. As well as a large reception area, the premises features family rooms, visiting rooms, funeral cars from A.W. Lymn's fleet and parking on the outside, and it was completely refurbished in 2013.
The funeral home is run by funeral director Louise Bramman and is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. If you need assistance or to meet with a funeral director after hours please call the telephone number, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The branch covers all of Long Eaton and its surrounding area including Breaston, Castle Donington, Chilwell, Draycott, Hathern, Kegworth, Sawley, Sutton Bonnington, Toton and beyond.

A.W.Lymn provided excellent customer service throughout the whole time I dealt with them: from collecting my mother from the hospital through to the end of the service. Their staff were sympathetic, understanding, approachable and very accommodating, especially considering I had to do all the arrangements from a 100+ mile distance. Whilst there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes, the visible face of A.W.Lymn at the funeral was professional and discrete but friendly and efficient. Having an in-house civil celebrant made those arrangements much easier than they could have been otherwise. Richard was approachable, personable and very thorough in his research, delivering a very fitting tribute. Everyone who attended the funeral commented on what a super send off we had given my mother, and that was thanks to the staff at A.W.Lymn.

A.W.Lymn were very professional, very understanding and very supportive whilst guiding us through a difficult time. They managed the creation and printing of the Order of Service booklets, that looked very nice and guided us through the service. The obituary web service was a useful tool to provide easy access to funeral information, a mechanism to make charitable donations and a nice way to leave messages of sympathy. The Celebrant, provided by A.W.Lymn, gently guided us through creating input for the service and was always available for any questions we might have. The service delivered by the Celebrant, was very professional and dignified. On the day, the staff transporting the coffin and immediate family to the crematorium were impeccably dressed and looked after us all the way. The cars looked incredible and all in all A.W.Lymn helped us provide a fitting tribute to our departed mother.

The main asset of Lymns are your staff.
People attending the funeral said it was the best funeral they had ever been to.

We found A W Lymn to be kind, compassionate and professional when arranging and conducting the funeral of my Mother.
A W Lymn organised the crematorium, the incumbent, service sheets, car and flowers which gave us peace of mind at a very distressing time. The funeral car they provided was a fabulous Rolls Royce which Mum would have been delighted to have travelled in for her final journey.
We can’t thank Louise and Cheris enough for all there advice and help at this sad time.
We would highly recommend their services.
