A.W. Lymn's Long Eaton office is located at Lime Grove in Long Eaton, which is in peaceful surroundings inside the cemetery gates at West Park.
The site was purchased from Dick Webb funeral service in 1981 and opened as an A. W. Lymn funeral home in June 1982.
The building was the local public mortuary and features an unusual copper roof. As well as a large reception area, the premises features family rooms, visiting rooms, funeral cars from A.W. Lymn's fleet and parking on the outside, and it was completely refurbished in 2013.
The funeral home is run by funeral director Louise Bramman and is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. If you need assistance or to meet with a funeral director after hours please call the telephone number, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The branch covers all of Long Eaton and its surrounding area including Breaston, Castle Donington, Chilwell, Draycott, Hathern, Kegworth, Sawley, Sutton Bonnington, Toton and beyond.
Nigel Lymn Rose, along with his sister Jackie and his son Matthew, manages A. W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service, ensuring all families receive excellent care at all times.

Based on our previous experience of using A W Lymn for a relative’s funeral, they were our only choice when arranging my mother’s funeral. We had high expectations, and these were fully met. She died at home, and from my initial phone call, out of hours, to the actual cremation, everything was handled sensitively and efficiently. Louise Brammam, in Long Eaton, dealt with everything necessary, and was exceptionally kind and efficient. Choosing a Funeral Director when coping with a bereavement can be difficult, but I have no hesitation in recommending A W Lymn to look after your loved one in these painful days.

I chose Lymns as I have used them before on the occasions of the deaths of my parents and have always been satisfied with the service that they have provided so armed with that knowledge it seemed an easy decision to make.
I was proved right as everything on the day went to plan and there were several comments made on the day as to how well everything gone.
I felt everything went as well as can be expected and the staff involved carried their roles really well and even though it was a very sad occasion for me it was all carried in a personal and sympathetic manner.
I would like to pass on my sincere thanks to all the staff that have been involved since Anita passed away on the 8th of October.
