After our dad suddengly passed away, we were all in shock. From the moment we rang up A.W.Lymn Funeral Directors we recieved excellent care.
Philip was our contact who helped us plan a funeral that really represented our dad in a beautiful way. We didn't know the area and so having Philip help us through this journey was hugely important to us. Helping with all aspects of the day. It was a day of grieving but also a day to celebrate our dad's life and legacy.
All the little details that make a funeral personal were incorporated so well.
We want to thank the whole team who supported us on the day. Our driver Nick and especially Philip for walking us through this journey in such a professional and caring way.

Although A W Lymn's head office moved to Robin Hood House on Robin Hood Street in 1977, many people in the area still refer to this office as "Lymn's on Bath Street".
The head office, built by fourth generation George Rose in the late 1970's, has several in-house funeral directors to help families with their funeral needs, and also houses most of the company's administration staff.
The funeral home is staffed by funeral directors Kevin Browne, Paul Richardson, Philip Wilson, funeral arranger Megan Rosier and receptionist Lucinda Pallett.
The opening times are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 12.30 pm. Staff are also available to meet with you after office hours. Please call the telephone number at any time to arrange a convenient appointment.
Besides the administration and reception area, the premises have a coffin showroom, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, a full fleet of hearses and limousines, a vintage fleet, stone masonry services and a florist.
A.W. Lymn's head office serves all of Nottingham city centre and its surrounding areas including Bobbers Mill, Colwick, Hyson Green, Mapperley, Radford, Sherwood, Sneinton, St. Ann's, The Meadows and beyond.
A W Lymn is owned and managed by the Lymn Rose family. Nigel Lymn Rose, one of the company's directors, was president of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) during its centenary year in 2005.

With my wife Pat passing so quickly the whole family was in shock, some didn't get to the family home before their mum/ momma passed, we were all over the place but one call to our chosen Funeral Directors, A.W.Lymn and all the stress of what to do next was taken from us, my wife was collected and taken to the Funeral home and was taken care of very well, everything went smoothly with Paul visiting us as Lymns representative and guided us through and was with us right up to dropping us off at home after the Funeral.. We can't thank everyone at A.W.lymns enough but we were so glad they were our choice.

Lymns are consumate professionals. Paul Richardson was our funeral director who was absolutely brilliant with my family. Nothing was too much trouble and he handled my dad's funeral with ultimate care and empathy. I would also give praise the to the young ladies who embalmed my dad, they were amazing and great ambassadors for Lymns.

The team at Lymns were all incredibly helpful and supportive, nothing was too much trouble. Their care in supporting the mobility needs of a member of our family was second to none. Kevin was extremely attentive in helping with the arrangements ahead of the funeral and on the day Paul was really supportive, and went out of his way to help, even assisting us to identify the location of an earlier scattering of ashes from an old photograph. We wholeheartedly recommend their services.
