I would like to thank all the staff at crescent funeral service for all there help with my dad's funeral. Every member of staff I dealt with were extremely helpful, kind and respectful during a very difficult time. Office staff were very quick to respond to calls and emails and took the time to answer any questions or explain any details to me. On the day of the funeral all staff were very helpful and professional. My dad was not the smallest of men but was treated with upmost respect I cannot thank all the staff enough for all the help and support I received.

From the first time I met Simon shortly after my mother’s death I felt we were in safe hands.  He was understanding, kind and so helpful.  Simon and his team made everything easy for us, nothing was too much trouble   They ensured we had absolutely the funeral we wanted for our mother.  The care they gave was dignified and warm.  The day of the funeral it all went without a hitch, we were delighted and we really could not have had a better team helping us to make that final farewell.  Simon and his team care of everything from flowers to order of service to newspaper announcements.  Truly they were wonderful and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Having used CFS for both our Mum's and Dad's funeral, I have nothing but positive feedback for Simon and his whole staff team.
They managed to be both highly professional and personal at the same time, leading to a most dignified of funerals.
From the first contact through to the collection of ashes, the whole family felt supported, listened too and cared for. At such a difficult period, this was so very reassuring and much needed.
We never felt rushed in making any decisions and the advice and direction offered was most welcome. The level of flexibility was wonderful, having the offer to visit Dad when we needed to was wonderful.
Despite understanding how much work is involved in collecting Dad, caring for him and preparing him for the funeral, none of the family felt any of those pressures leaving us to focus on grieving and making our own peraonl arrangements to celebrate his life.
The whole process was carried out with utter dignity and respect from the way in which we were spoken to, the level of clear communication, the presentation and behaviour of Simon and his team of hearse drivers and pall bearers at the funeral and to the follow up.
I cannot recommend Simon and his team highly enough. A most trustworthy and professional team. Thank you

Simon , Robert and the whole team at CFS are the most professional , knowledgeable and caring group of people I know in the trade. I would not have trusted or wanted anyone else to look after my dear husband. 

My husband sadly died from an infection that necessitated his remains to be processed in a very specific way in accordance to public heath England guidelines. This process was clearly explained in a kind and compassionate way. 

I’m despite of being thousands of miles away on holiday, Simon continued to check that we were ok and being looked after in his absence. If this is not dedication I don’t know what is. 

Roberts creativity when it came to the order of service , was just breath taking. 

Nothing was too much trouble , it was a complex service with Tractors, Lorries and a custom made hearse. Simon took all this and the co-ordination of the vehicles in his stride. I did not have to worry about anything. 

In terms of florists CFS use an independent man Grayden. His floral arrangements are amazing. I also had arrangements delivered and made by relatives, CFS had no issues with this and worked with them as well as his own florist. 

We had a bespoke coffin for my husband , CFS helped arrange this and allowed me to be as creative as I liked. The final product was amazing . 

Simon knew my husband and I know that David would not have wanted anyone else looking after him. David's death was sudden and left everyone in shock. I know that Simon would have found some aspects of my husbands care very difficult. He remained composed , but equally showed a level of personal emotion that was extremely comforting. 

Words can never express how pleased I have been with CFS. 

Thank you 🙏 for making a very difficult time that bit more bearable .

Simon and his team have given far over and above what I was expecting. Their exemplary attention to detail, together with outstanding compassion and sensitivity has made the upset of having to arrange a funeral so much easier to bear. I cannot rate Crescent Funeral Services highly enough. They are in a gold standard league of their own 🌟

What can we say? Everything from the first meeting with the family to the funeral service was perfect. Simon, James and the team were always there to answer any questions and attend to every detail of the Order of Service. Beverley, the Celebrant, helped us condense Mum's vast array of memories into a sentimental but uplifting picture of a very long, full life of almost 100 years. Every detail of our wishes were carried out in a slick professional manner. Mum would have been very proud, especially to know the bagpiper escorted her all the way. What a send off! Well done team!

Hi lovely people ....what can I say other than ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL, I have never met such kind caring people in all my life, just a shame its under such sad circumstances. I cannot fault anything you did or said. You treated MY MARTIN so lovingly and made him look so handsome and peaceful. I am sad I cannot see him any more but know he was in such wonderful hands for the time he spent in your Parlour and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did for both of us. Crescent are kind, organised and very supportive. Their chosen celebrant and florist were amazing. I would recommend the Crescent to anyone needing help with funeral arrangements. Simon is incredibly gentle, kind and very helpful. I dreaded the day of my mums funeral but on the day I actually enjoyed it. It was beautiful. Many thanks to Simon Helliar-Moore for the services he provided and for recommending the very excellent Pauline Marston as celebrant.
