Ii would like to thank everyone at co/operative exspecialy Sharon, for the care and the arrangements for my mothers funeral.

All the arrangements through CoOperative Funeral Care were carried out very efficiently and our special thanks go to Sharon for her efforts that made things for us so much easier. Would have no hesitation in using your services again.

One down side was the Lay Preacher provided by the Parish of St Andrews was probably not up to the task. This was a shame as he was a nice gentleman who did his best but unfortunately fundamental mistakes were made on the day which were quite upsetting. I could give more detail but I am not sure where to go with this. I bear no animosity to the gentleman and in a way feel sorry for him but I would hate for a repeat to happen to another family.

From the moment I stepped into the room, Jenny made me feel completely at ease, especially being such a harrowing time and having just flown in from Australia the day before.  Jenny was kind, patient, caring, no task was too much or question too silly, her professionalism was outstanding. Jenny helped me coordinate a simple, beautiful and poignant send off for my Dad, even suggesting I take the wreath away with me after the service. Of which I did and took amazing pictures with it in Scotland. I didn’t know what to expect or what I would have to do, and Jenny made this difficult exceptionally smooth.  The day before the service Joy was wonderful with me on the phone, and on the day her firm hand and gentle reassuring presence was exactly what I needed. Joy’s care and professionalism was also outstanding Alan Penny was extraordinary, he weaved together my Dad’s stories seamlessly as if he’d met him, there was joy through tears.  I can’t thank the Co-op enough for helping me put together something that was so sad and so beautiful. I am forever indebted to you all and your exquisite service. I thank you with all my heart.

Cannot thank Sharon enough who helped us to organise dad's funeral .(Coventry branch)
The chauffeurs were also excellent ,as it was a very cold and rainy day they helped me and my family in the 2 hearses .
10 out of 10 in every aspect .
Many thanks to all who made a very sad occasion , a little easier to bear.

From the funeral itself,I have no issues.The service we received was excellent
The only issues I had were when we went to view my mother....the chap who took us in failed to tell us that the door catch had a release button. We closed the door for some privacy,and ended up having to hammer on the door to be let out....Luckily, one of the mortuary assistants were nearby to let us out

I used the Co-op when my mum passed away in 2003. I knew Brian Evans the manager then and also Bill Harvey. Although they have both retired I was not disappointed with Tom Stokes who helped me with all aspects of the funeral. In fact he went over and above in helping me. I was having a problem with getting the death certificate and Tom told me not to worry and that he would get in touch with the coroner on my behalf. Sorted!
On the day of the funeral Tom was not available but Claire was equally as helpful.

The service provided was excellent - from changing the order of service pamphlet to meet our needs, re-arranging the funeral time to accommodate the minister of our choice, to providing a caring, polite and sympathetic representative as the funeral director who accommodated our every request. .

Couldn't praise the Co-op Funeral Service enough exceptional customer service and the understanding and compassion they showed was tremendous, they made a extremely difficult time for us easier to deal especially knowing we where in such capable hands.

Aunties funeral was a lovely day, and Tom had just the right approach. The only improvement I can suggest is helping some of the people to find the grave for the burial. Its a large cemetery and people arriving in their own cars didnt know where to find us. The result was that the burial itself felt a little rushed. Otherwise an excellent job! Thank you.
