Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

Karen and Clare at the Co-op were kind and efficient and totally respectful. We originally met Karen when she was the funeral director at the Co-op Three Bridges where she looked after us for our mum, when we found she had transferred to Horsham we went there so that she could be the funeral director for our dad.

Karen and Clare, from the moment we met them, made us feel as if we were the only family they were looking after.

Everything went as planned, managed to find additional limo when we made changes. Towards the funeral it did feel a little rushed, but all was good.

The care given towards my husband was very, very good when he was at the Co-op funeral directors. The staff at the funeral home was very helpful to me and family. They helped me planned the funeral with care, which made it easier for me to do at this time of bereavement. Even after the funeral when I went to see the funeral directors staff they still took the time to talk and reassure me in my time of grief.
