Polly smith dealt with me to help arrange my daughter funeral , she was helpful and caring, then after my daughter passed away box's came and picked beth up in a very respectfully , I added beth to be but in chapel of rest they made her look beautiful Polly made sure every time we went over top see beth she looked beautiful Polly stayed bk some times if some family member couldn't get there till after work , overall Polly went on every level yo make me and my family at ease in terrible time, I would recommend boxs as a company and Polly to help u arrange and carry out the wishes .

These funeral directors are first class, from the first phone call ( on a Sunday ) through to the funeral itself. Their fleet of vehicles is excellent as are all the personnel. First class service and advice from beginning to end. Thank You, it made a sad and difficult time a lot easier.

As a family and for myself I think it would be impossible to pick a better, more friendly or professional service than that provided by Eric F. Box. They have been extremely courteous, sympathetic and understanding and above all very patient and kind towards my bereft father. The whole team were extremely professional and helpful on the day of the funeral and things couldn't have gone more smoothly whilst their pre-funeral arrangements were spot on. I would like to thank Edward Box in particular for being so " brilliant "...no other word to describe him ! Thank you for everything.

Obviously this is not a service you generally require very often, and as such, you have no expertise and rely very very heavily on the experience and service the Funeral Director provides.

Well, my late mothers funeral was provided by Eric Box Funeral services. Andrew dealt with me on behalf of my mother. Andrew is the consummate professional. However, having said that, I realise that it was a team effort by Eric Box as a company and I can not think of one instance or item that could have been any better....everything  was done to the highest degree with the greatest dignity.

I have dealt with many people and many organisations during my 50 years working life, Eric Box's sits well and truly at the top.

It's never an easy thing to do; planning a funeral and going through all of the many details involved, but Edward and his team were so wonderful throughout. Supportive and professional every step of the way.
We were so thankful for their assistance and informative responses. They looked after us, ensured that everything was just as we wanted it to be and made things that little bit easier and a lot less stressful. Thank you all so much for everything you did for us. It was hard to make those decisions, but we knew from the start that we were in safe hands and we were so glad to have Edward and the rest of the team at our sides throughout the process.

We dealt with Sally for the funeral of Maria. She was dignified, patient, kind, and understanding. She talked gently thought the process and made all the arrangements for everything we wanted. 
When we went to see Maria in the chapel of rest she just looked like she was sleeping. 

Overall they did a fantastic job. I would recommend them to anyone.

Professional and sensitive from start to finish. Sally was everything we needed at a very upsetting and stressful time. Nothing was too much trouble and she took all the pressure of arranging a funeral away. I would recommend them without hesitation.

As a family we have used Eric Box's for years simply because their service is second to none. Andrew recently carried out my Dad's funeral and he was excellent from start to finish. He provided a very dignified funeral service, collection of my dad from the hospital and the private viewing.

Wonderful service from Sally at Eric F Box. Extremely professional with a perfect balance of sensitivity and practicality. Just what we needed at a very difficult time. Dealt with everything for the funeral, even providing a wheelchair for my mum who cannot walk at the moment.


I would have no hesitation in recommending them (and Sally) to anyone needing a Funeral Director.
