George Brookes made a difficult time more manageable. Very professional, sorted everything quickly, everyone I dealt with was kind and nothing was too much trouble. The actual funeral was well managed, worth every penny.

Established in 1952, George Brooke funeral directors offer compassionate funeral planning services to the North Kirklees area, including Dewsbury, Batley, Mirfield, Cleckheaton and Ossett. The office is open all week and 9am-2.30pm on Saturday.
A family-run and owned business, the George Brooke team promises to take the time to listen to a family’s requirements. Helen and Judith Brooke pride themselves on giving the bereaved help with all their needs during a difficult time, allowing them to plan the ideal bespoke funeral for their loved one.
George Brooke funeral directors work with families from all religious backgrounds and can cater to faith-specific needs, such as dedicated washing facilities for Hindu and Sikh families. They also have civil celebrants and humanist officiants for non-religious funeral services.
A chapel of rest is available for use at both the Dewsbury and Mirfield premises, as well as an area for holding funeral teas following ceremonies. George Brooke can also offer a hearse and three funeral vehicles for hire.
