Right from our initial conversation, Michael who is the owner was supportive, understanding of our needs, reliable and very respectful. He took care of me and guided me to the day of my wife’s funeral. He made suggestions and gave my wife the dignity which she deserved. A lovely warm man who I could ask no more of.

Michael and his team were absolutely amazing.
They went over and above for my mum. We had the fastest funeral ever, delays were due to the hospital, it was near Christmas, she died on the 5th December, l couldn’t get a death certificate until the 12th. Michael and his team got us in at Rawdon Crematorium our local venue on the 20th. Ashes available a day or so later. He also offered us a fabulous celebrant in Jo. She was a great purveyor of mums life. I used a local florist Mulberry in Guiseley, Jen was faultless and flowers fabulous. We had a small wake at Wharfedale View afterwards thanks to the lovely Paula. We took flowers back and made them into posies for everyone, had a book of photos at the wake and a good old catch-up too. Mum would have loved it! We had her dressed in her favourite outfit 
Under the sad circumstances we had a great send off, we had music, and an order of service with photos and whatever we requested in there too. 
You can have technical digital screens now at the cremation showing pictures or videos of your loved ones. 
I am seriously contemplating getting a funeral plan in place now as a result of my mum passing. 
A lovely touch was the memory card and the forget me not seeds.. l would give these at the funeral personally as people live to be given a memory then? 
We are all still struggling to get to grips with mum dying. I’ve only dreamt of her twice since, First time she was waiting to be picked up and there was no room in the car, secondly she woke from the dead, literally complaining about how frozen she was ! 
She may have passed but she’s still in my psyche.

My husband died suddenly in January and I had no clue what to expect when planning the funeral. The wonderful people  at Carden &Sons went above and beyond to help me and make the experience smooth. They took on all tasks to help ease my burden at a time when I needed them.  I cannot thank them enough for everything

A massive thank you to you, you made Don”s day perfect in every way. From beginning to the end you have gone beyond anything I could have asked for. Michael went over and above what was required of him he left an impression on everyone who was there and made the day bearable with his thoughts and actions.
The icing on the cake so to speak was when Michael took Darren past Elland Road he would have been well chuffed - thank you Michael from the bottom of our hearts

Michael arrived promptly to arrange the collection of my husband. He was polite professional and kind to all of the family that had arrived. Every step of the way he explained what would happen
He talked us through the options we could choose for the funeral, he spoke of the legal requirements concerning my husband . Every call I made he answered or rang back as soon as he was able. He assisted us on some of the matters we were unsure of I found he made our family reassured that we had made the right choice in him as an undertaker

I am so glad I chose Carden and Sons Independent Family Funeral Directors.  From my first conversation and all the way through sorting the arrangements for my dads funeral, Mr Carden made it easy and painless as possible at a stressful and emotional time. I was guided through the process and explained to, all that would happen, what I needed to arrange etc.  There were no hidden costs and all the arrangements were perfectly taken care of. The funeral was a credit to my dad and we sent him on his way in style, all credit to the team helping from Carden and sons. I would like to thank everyone helping on the day, thank you.

Michael and his team did an excellent job taking care of my Mum.Honestly went above and behind what he had to do and without him and his team we would of been lost. If anyone is reading this and is unsure about who to go with especially in a difficult time like this please go with Michael and his time they could not of Handled the situation better and me and my family thanks Michael for all the effort and time he put in to the funeral

From the first meeting with Michael we felt at ease and knew mum would be looked after. They show great respect for the deceased and the family, kept in touch right up to the night before. This great respect for Mum continued throughout the funeral and taking us back home in the funeral car. Very well organised during the pandemic and definitely removed the stress from the family xx

Carden and Son did a funeral for a person I loved dearly,  I can only say Michael was so kind caring and professional , nothing was too much trouble and I’ve even cancelled my funeral with the coop to go to Carden and sons , I’d recommend them every time and the price was really reasonable 110 percent for everything they did

I found myself needing to arrange my friends funeral and Carden and Sons were recommended and I honestly don't think I could have found a better service!😃 There was no 'hard sell' or suggestions for other extras. Micheal listened to what I would like and made it happen the way my friend would have wanted!😃 I had absolutely NO idea what I had to do regarding the paperwork and legal stuff but Micheal went through it all with me and made the process SO much easier, he even went to Preston and brought my friend back to Leeds so I didn't have to worry about getting him back home!😃 I was also grateful for the respect shown to my friend, when I visited the Chapel of Rest Micheal knocked on the door and bowed before entering and on the day of the funeral he gave such respect by walking in front of the cars even though it was freezing and again bowed out of respect before getting in ther car, these small signs of respect mean so much to the family and friends!😃 I honestly can't thank Carden and Sons enough for the great send off they gave my friend and would highly recommend them to anyone!😃❤
