In loving memory of the late Sean Mark Sweeny
Who was sadly taken from us far to soon only aged 41 yrs old...
Beloved Son to Pat and the late Frank, Brother to Adrian...
Loving partner to Jo and looked upon as a father figure by the children Matthew, Sophie and Rebecca...
You will be sorely missed by all, but at least you are in no more pain and in good company with Dad until we can all be together once more xx

"Night Night, God Bless, Love You Baby Boy" (Joanne Brown - Baby Girl)

To all who will be attending Sean's funeral, we are trying to abide by his wishes of which was that people do not where black attire, the more colorful the better. As Sean's hope is that friends and family will look upon this day as more of a celebration of his life and not a somber affair....

In Sympathy and Friendship...

What can a friend say to a friend
who had lost someone dear,

Except to say I care for you and that I'll be right here - To comfort and console you,
to help you make it through...
What can a friend say to a friend,
except I'm here for you.

With Sympathy and Caring
Lots of Love from
Achim, Mary & Sue

Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away into the next room.
I am I, and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by my old familiar name,
speak to me in the easy way you always used.
Put no difference into your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we always enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that is always was.
Let it be spoken without effort, without ghost of a shadow in it.
Life means all that it ever meant,
it is the same as it ever was; there is absolute unbroken continuity.
What is death but negligible accident?
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you
for an interval somewhere very near, just around the corner.
All is well. Nothing is past; nothing is lost.
One brief moment and all will be as it was before.
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again.

(Canon Henry Scott-Holland)

A family is a journey,
With many twists and turns...
A family is made up of many things,
Good times and deep concerns...

At times the family's strong,
Other times it falls apart...
Regardless of the circumstances,
It centres round the heart...

The heart can be the mum and dad...
Sometimes it can be the child...
The main thing to cling onto is the bond
Like stone so hard...

A family can fall out, Over the smallest of little things...
The tiniest rift, can become the widest gorge,
With heartache that it brings...

Before you know it a days gone past,
A week, a month, a year,
Through out that time of stubbornness,
Regret brings forth a tear...

A time will come when it's to late
For apologies to make...
As the one that really did mean so much
Is not there to forgive your mistake...

So with heavy heart I'm sorry Sean,
My brother who I have lost,
Have mercy on my faults and wrongs,
I'll make up for all it's cost.

I'm sorry to your Darling Joanne,
For all the years I've missed,
And pray that Sophie, Bex and Matt
For the chance to mend this rift.

For the love you showed to all of them
Will live on throughout their lives
and to just spend time with all of them,
Once again you'll be revived.

Now you and Dad look after each other
and enjoy your time of rest.
As when my time comes to join you both,
The first night we'll be a mess...

Look out Heaven
The Sweeny's now are building up a tribe...
And those who know us down on earth
Know unity is our pride xx

I'll look after mum with all I've got
and be there day and night....
Our family will become one again
When the moments right xxx

R.I.P. my brother 24/4/2014
