I first met Duncan 50 years ago when he worked for 'The Sunger Sewing Machine Company'. I joined 'Singers' a nervous young girl starting her first job and Duncan was never anything but cheery and kind to me. He was very proud of Blanche and their young family and I got to know them all very well over the years.
The last time I met Duncan was in August this year and although he was frail he was still his usual cheery self. Will miss you Duncan say hello to Blanche from us.
Rest in peace
With love from Betty, Don & family xx

Duncan has been visiting us here in our home near Ottawa Ontario Canada since 2011 after Blanche, my Aunt, passed away. It was a true pleasure to have him here. I had a feeling that his visit in 2014 might be his last but was fervently hoping he would be able to come for many years. Alas this was not to be and he is sorely missed by myself and my wife Cathy. We have been tearfully reminiscing all his visits since being told by Sharon, my cousin, of his passing.
Duncan, you are a true Gem of Humanity. It is a great privilege to have had you as a member of the Family all these years and you will never be forgotten.
Sharon, You and your Brother Duncan can feel proud of having such a good person for a Father.
