still missing you dad, they say grief comes in waves and at the begining you feel like you are drowning and as time goes by the waves become trickles at your ankles. i am so longing for those waves to be at my ankles. feel like i am drowning dad.

My dad he was a hero, but not one that went to war
He fought his war called cancer, but now he fights no more
He sleeps in peace, away from pain
But I know in my heart, I will see him again

I will miss you more, each and every day
But your memory lives on and helps me through the pain
I will never forget how strong you were
You taught me so much, and I learnt so much more

I'll never forget the time that we had
You gave me good memories, that I shall never forget

You made me laugh, you made me cry
But the time we had was never a lie

I'll see you again, I know this is true
As long as you remember how much we love you

Missing you so so much xxxxxxxxx

If I could write a story,
It would be the greatest ever told.
I'd write about my dad,
For he had a heart of gold
I'd write about the lessons.
He taught me right from wrong.
He instilled in me the values
That one day I'd be strong.
He taught me to face my fears,
Take each day as it comes,
For there are things that we can't change.
He would say what's done is done.
If I could write a story,
It would be the greatest ever told.
I'd write about my dad,
For he had a heart of gold.

Going to miss you so much Dad
