Sidney Sherriff (11 Dec 1926 - 18 Mar 2016)
In loving memory of Sidney Sherriff who sadly passed away on 18th March 2016...
Sidney was a very independent person, born in Aston and one eight children. His mother named Louise Sherriff and his father Jack Sherriff.
Most of family and friends knew Sidney as "Sid". He was a most loved brother to his youngest sister Ivy as well as the rest of his brothers and sisters. He was also a uncle to Raymond, Madeline, Lawrence, Terry, Michael, Evelyn, Mandy, Yvonne, Alison and Sharon.
He served in The Royal Dorsetshire Regiment.
He had small hobbies such as playing Domino's or looking after his garden and growing many vegetables. Not to forget the jar of pickles he gave us every Christmas.
He will be sadly missed but I am sure his stories will be passed on to many generations.

Siddy or as some called you Nobby thanks for all the times you looked out for me when I was young and also all the tips on how to grow things. While your up there tell our Mom we all still miss her. Also tell Nan thanks for being there when I needed here. Any way Good Night and God Bless

Love you Lots my Great Uncle Sid; you are now at rest and out of pain. We do miss you but in sure your giggling up there with your brothers and sisters. Love you lots and the stories you told me shall be passed to many generations im sure xx
