Joyce Liddle (25 Sep 1934 - 27 Mar 2016)

In loving memory of Joyce Liddle who sadly passed away on 27th March 2016.
Joyce was born in Stonebroom and one of 8 siblings. She moved to Blackwell in her early childhood , and later to Tibshelf where she lived until her marriage to Derek .
She lived all of her married life in South Normanton and has three children, Evelyn, Sonia , and James .
She worked for nearly 20 years at Filigree textiles retiring in the early nineties. Joyce loved to spend time with her grandchildren , and liked to play bingo .
She enjoyed holidays all over the British Isles, in particular Blackpool, Eastbourne and Weymouth .
Joyce sadly suffered with Dementia and passed away after a long illnes in Blackwell Care Home.
I would like to offer special thanks to all that cared for Joyce throughout her illness, the care and compassion from everyone at the home was exceptional , thanks to Jo and her team for all that they have done for Joyce .
