In loving memory of Stanley Reginald William Bratt who sadly passed away on 6th April 2016.

Unfortunately, only a few weeks ago, we were all given the devastating news that Stan had got secondary cancer and only had a few weeks left to live. Despite knowing this he never had any self pity and simply accepted it. He bravely held on until we were able to get him home. Stan passed away peacefully the following afternoon.

We are grateful for the fact that as a family, we were able to celebrate his 80th Birthday with him 2 months ago and that only just over a month ago, he was enjoying a lovely holiday in Gran Canaria, with Maureen, Michael and Vicki.

Stan was a caring, loving and thoughtful family man, who liked the simple, quiet things in life. He loved his family and will be greatly missed by us all.

Rest In Peace Pops

Maureen, Michelle & Michael

Sorry you have gone but so glad you did not suffer for too long. Hope you will approve of the arrangements we have made for your funeral ,I know you hated a fuss but you will have to put up with being the centre of attention for a while. You would be so proud of Michelle and Michael and the way they have supported me during the last few weeks. Love you.

I will remember Stan fondly a gentle and kind man and loving father. Mo and Stan figured greatly in my growing up and it would never be a surprise to bump in to them together in Sutton over the years. He and Mo are an example to all of us and his children a credit to him. He may be in heaven now but will be looking down on his family with pride and one day you will all be reunited. God bless Stan xx

Stan, you were a great neighbour as I grew up next door, a funny man who enjoyed a bit of a laugh. You were clearly a loving husband and a devoted father. You will be sadly missed, may you rest in peace. x
