I have very happy memories of the few times when I met Ken, during the time my lovely niece Sharon Glanister was working with him as his PA in Northampton General Hospital. He was a very kind gentleman, with a great sense of humour.
He was very supportive to Sharon through some difficult times, which will never be forgotton by our family, a very special man. My sincere condolences to the family.

Still grasping the concept of a world without such a towering intellect, such a breadth of humanity and such a maverick sense of humour. Every time we sit down to a pie and a pint, or watch a rocket being launched to the International Space Station, his smiling face will shine out of the shadows. We both regard it as an unrepeatable privilege to have been friends with such a remarkable man.
Love and positive feelings to Penny, Jon, Sarah Nick and Amy.

Sad to hear the news. We have fond memories of a supportive and generous colleague at Northampton General Hospital, a friend, and fellow etcher, whose etching of Brixworth from Hanging Houghton hangs in our hall, and is always admired.
