Shocked, sad and upset to learn the news . Steve I got to know you through work and then through our children's school , a top bloke in every sense of the word, you will be remembered by myself and many others for all the right reasons, my thoughts are with your family. The Oakley's in Australia

Heaven gained an Angel, with a sparkle in his eye and a true loving heart the day you left us. You may no longer be on the end of the phone, but you are safely tucked away in my heart as you are in the hearts of the many that love you. Miss you so much trouble , thank you for the precious time you shared with Mattie at cricket, you gave him a man to look up to after losing his dad , I could never have asked for a better more loyal friend. You have blessed the earth with two wonderful sons and they will always carry a part of you on, they are 'your boys'. Thank you just for being you, simply The Best xxxxxx

Can't find any words to explain the hurt and emptiness I am feeling now that you are gone. I feel so blessed to have had you as my brother. We shared a happy childhood together, we had many happy memories I will treasure forever! Goodnight God bless Steve until we meet a again. RIP with our Dad.xxx

I can't find the words to explain how heavy your absence feels on my heart .....I can't find the words to ever explain how grateful I am to have known you and too have loved you as you did me ..you was the best parent enybody could ever wish for and I owe you more than I could ever give ...
