In loving memory of Lesley Higgins who sadly passed away at her home on 20th May 2016 aged 52 years.
Lesley wasn't one to dwell on the sadness or the obstacles in her way. Throughout her life she always found the positives, and encouraged everyone to look on the bright side. Her smile was infectious and she'd often be found giggling.
Throughout her battle with cancer she remained resolute that it would not beat her. She was determined (some would stay stubborn) and continued bravely for as long as she could.
If she was here while we are writing this, she would not want us to list the events in her life, but to remember the times that she made us smile or helped us out.
It's important to remember Lesley's wishes at this time. She was adamant that we are not to be sad (although this is very challenging), and that we should be celebrating her life instead. Remember - she was always looking for the positives.
Lesley asked that nobody wears black to her funeral - we are celebrating her life and her life was full of excitement, joy and colour. She did not want any wreaths, so we have decided to collect donations for Cancer Research UK instead.

A very brave lady with a positive attitude and a ready smile. I am so glad that I had the chance to know and work with your Lesley. Thank you for being such an inspiration. I will miss you but will not forget you. Rest in peace now.

What can I say she will be missed we will miss all the Halloween treats,zantangles and after school clubs and she was in all my classes from year 2 till year 6. mrs Higgins was always there to put a smile on my face when I was down a fantastic teacher I will miss xx

The most positive and sunniest person I ever had the pleasure to be with. I am really going to miss our ladies that lunch Lesley but will promise to do as you requested and that is to begin and end each day with a smile. God bless my lovely. Xx

My bestie, partner in crime, but what Fantasic memories you have given me, no one could wish to know a better person than you, always smiling having fun, the greatest. Thank you Andy, George and Becky for making me part of such a lovely family, i loved her with all my heart.
