Hugh Gordon Gooding
Died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on 29th July 2012 at St. James Hospital, aged 62 years.
Devoted father to Gay, Xina, Gordon, Abijah, Nigel & Karon. Much loved Grandfather.
Hugh is the owner & proprietor of Hugh Gooding Funeral Services and will be very sorely missed by his family, many dear friends and the diverse communities of Leeds, who have come to know him through his excellent business and his warm smile and personality. May he rest in eternal peace.
Funeral service will be held on Friday 10th August 2012, 11am at St Aidan’s Church, Roundhay Road, Leeds 8.
Interment at Harehills Cemetery, Kimberley Road, Leeds 9.
Refreshments afterwards will be served at Leeds West Indian Centre, Laycock Place, Leeds 7. A coach will be available from St Aidan’s Church.
A book of condolence is available to sign at the offices of Hugh Gooding Funeral Services.
Charitable donations can be made below to support Black Health Initiative, the Robert Ogden Centre at St James’ Hospital & Cancer Research.

Elijah enjoys his conversations with you, so thanks for that. He said to me just last night "Your Daddy's very proud of you" and I asked him why. He said "Because you go to work", lol!!! I said to him. "Does my Daddy speak to you sometimes Elijah?" and he said yes. I asked him what you say to him and he said "He calls me Bug Eyes" ha ha ha!!!! Yeah, thanks for that Daddy!!!
I wish you could see what Peter, Gay and I have been doing with the business - you'd love it!!!
