I am so sorry to find out that Phil has sadly passed away and would like to pass on my condolences to his family ,Maureen and son Danny. Phil always had a smile on his face and would never fail to make you laugh ,I was a close friend of his brother in law Frank Collier and all three of us would go to Anfield every now and again and he quite often came up to Appley Bridge to the Wheatsheaf or play snooker at St Teresa's club ,they really were great times ,he will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
