We have a huge void in our lives at the moment, having spent so much time with Ted over the past 10 years. He was much apart of our family, as he said we were apart of his. Spent many hours listening to all his life experiences, living with his many siblings, Cricket as a teenager, meeting & marrying Joan, World War 2, living in Richmond, Clanfield and Liphook.
Ted was a very quirky, funny man, who loved to have a joke, even until his last few weeks of life.
We were very privileged to have Ted contribute to our son's WW2 project, where he wrote about his experience, and his return to Dunkirk, and poem he wrote titled "The Veterans", Ted also wrote a Poem for myself, which i will cherish. It was a privileged for everything we did for you Ted, truly an inspirational man, and you will be very sorely missed, Love as always Alex, Gina, Lee, Kian, Lola & Keely.

Sincere sympathy to Janet, Ian and the entire family of which Uncle Ted was extremely proud. Family was most important to him. I was so pleased to have been able to visit with him and Aunt Joan over the years at Richmond and especially relish the visit my husband Garry and I had with him in 2011 at his home in Liphook. I loved receiving his newsy letters which he wrote even up to last year. Wonderful memories of his visit here in Canada with my mother and father and his sister Pat. May light perpetual shine upon him and may he rest in peace and rise in glory united with his beloved Joan.
