Dearest wee Nana, you were and always will be my greatest treasure! I've loved you and still love you now, without bounds! There will be no other like you Nana. You gave us everything and in return you wanted nothing besides our health and happiness.
You demanded our respect effortless with your love, affection, laughter and giving - always giving!!
Your body might have been wee but your presence huge and your heart massive, full of naughtiness, fun and LOVE! With you Nana, was my most favourite place to be!
So it's fair to say that I've never felt so unfairly treated, angered and entirely heart broken than when your confidence and strength started to fade under the strains of dementia and I've missed having 'all of you' ever since.
You have had a long fight now Nana and you did not deserve it! But now you've slipped away for some peace and quiet I will miss you beyond compare and for evermore, but rest assured wee Nana, your love and hysterical antics will live forever in my heart.
You've been amazing! Now get yourself a nip and kick back and relax in front of the telly, I'm pretty sure you'll get Coronation Street, the Snooker, the Darts, 3-2-1 and Question of Sport on catch-up; up there!! ?
PS If you want to come back Nana, just say and we'll all be there way bells on!!
Cheerio the now pal, I Love you! (then you say "eye, in ah love you a'naw"). xxxxx❤️xxxxx
