Duncan's funeral will be held at the Loughborough Crematorium on Tuesday 12th July at 2:45pm. This will be followed by a celebration of his life at the Syston Conservative Club.

Duncan wrote in a letter that he did not want flowers and that donations should go to the chosen charity of the Merton County Primary School. The School has been very supportive of the family through these difficult times and Duncan wanted to show his thanks.

Through the U Foundation Charity, the Merton County Primary School supports the Siankaba Nursery School located in Siankaba in the country of Zambia, Africa. Siankaba is a rural village located 25 miles from Livingstone, in the Southern Province of Zambia. Almost everyone in this part of Zambia lives in a mud hut, with no modern amenities. They do not have the luxuries of electricity, running water or proper sanitation. Like every Zambian village, disease and HIV/AIDS are a huge problem, leading to a large number of unnecessary early deaths, life expectancy being just 57 years.
