In loving memory of Vincent Bernard Liburd who sadly passed away on 30th July 2016, aged 77 years. Beloved father & grandfather, Vince will be sadly missed by all in the community.

By the old rugged cross,
You sit with a smile,
Waiting for those,
you have left for a while
And those you have left,
With their grief and their loss,
Will meet you one day,
By that old rugged cross.

xxx

Well the Christmas and New year are over your presence was greatly felt and missed especially your contribution of sweet bread, fruit cake and coconut tart and also your chatter and excitement of preparing your own dishes. RIEP father GBNF.

First year without you grumpy but you could always light up a room with your chat. I know you are in a better place but I have you always in my heart and mind. I take you places, talk to you too and drink every now and then as a toast to your memory we have lots of those. Miss you my guardian angel ? x

Vincent... You are well renown for being a friendly person who always greeted everyone with a friendly gesture and I admired your warm and friendly character but even more than that I had a great admiration for the way that you endeavoured to support, assist and even make provisions for your children/grandchildren. You were an outstanding role model of a father and grandfather. Well done Vincent... May your soul rest in eternal peace with your Saviour.

Sympathy to the family. I knew Vincent from a very young age always at the house such fond memories. Last saw him on the 4th June at my mum 70th party they had a dance together on the dance floor. Still could move those feet. I'm so glad I got to see you and speak with you before you parted. I will always have fond memories of you and although I won't be at the funeral my mum, dad and other family members will be their I will be but in spirit. Dear Vincent may your soul rest in peace until we all meet again. X
