My mum was a great lady, strong yet gentle, hard but fair, I wouldn't have asked for her to be any other way.
A legend in the playgrounds of Molesey. she could out run even the fastest of the naughty children.
She leaves her legacy with 3 amazing grandchildren who she loved more than anything, the few times I took Henry to see her in hospital her eyes lit up and her face changed to a happy one, even knowing how ill she was, he could still make her smile (and the other elderly ladies on the ward!)
You only get one mum, mine has sadly gone, all I can do is cherish the memories and be glad that she passed peacefully with myself and Melissa by her side.
The sky gained another star that night.
