Such a respected Police officer, it was a pleasure to work with him, as his Despatcher and also as our local bobby in Thornhill. So sorry for your loss.

I am not a religious man but if the earth is fit for laughter then surely heaven is filled with it. Heaven is the birthplace of laughter. If this is the case John will have everyone in stitches!!!

Completely at a loss at what to say, words and clichés seem so inadequate. Can't begin to understand the pain and loss to Pauline and Alex. John was simply the best friend and partner i had the privilege to work with strong, loyal, funny, intelligent and grounded. John boy you will be missed more than any words of mine can possibly express, just feel so very lost at the news.
Respect Mr B from Mr B.
