A wonderful lady. Sweet, kind, funny, patient and wise. Always happy to be with her girl's and treated all their friends like one of her own. Put up with us walking in at all times in the early hours, but never went sleep till she knew we were all in. She used to say she didn't mind because at least she knew where we were.. A fantastic Mum and amazing nana. We'll miss you Mary you were a diamond.

Mary you will be sadly missed. You treated me as part of the family. We had some good times over the years, from holidays to the New Forest and putting up with us when we had a night out on the town. I will always cherish those moments.God Bless Heaven gained another Angel xx

So many happy memories Mary. Cooking my dinner at High school; Angela will know what I mean when I say 'slop was my favourite' Being a little bit tiddly dropping us off on our 1st school trip to France. I still remember you repeating "Stay away from the side of the boat" & so much more. You were like a 2nd mum to me growing up always looking out for us giving good advise. Will miss you, RIP Mary ??

My nan lasted long but here it stop and we got to carry on and fight cancer. Nan alway said the body is a shell . I love her lots and lots . One wish I will wish is for nan to come back healthy. I know I am only 11 but I understand alot and I also understand that she cared and loved everyone with all her heart. One thing I know is that we got to keep her spirit going

  • I agree with Heather. Her nan was a very kind lady. Even though I am not in her family I am Heather's best friend and shed some tears myself. Mary was a person who cared for others and liked everyone for who they were. Light a candle or comment for her spirit to look down seeing a world she lived in and be proud of it.
