In loving memory of Joyce Briggs who sadly passed away on 7th November 2016

David Rosling wrote

I made a donation on behalf of my Aunt Joyce Briggs last June. I never received any kind of acknowledgment from the British Heart Foundation. I see on the internet that the donation went through and my credit card was billed. I just want to make sure that you did received it.

Thank you,
David Rosling

"Auntie" Joyce visited our South Carolina town of Aiken(USA) in 2015. We were able to meet her for lunch, and she had a ride in one of our antique cars (see photos). She was a 'breath of fresh air" and we are so glad we had a short visit with her.

We will truly miss this incredible women. She loved her family and had a joy for life that was very inspiring. Many thanks to her UK family and friends who could be there when we could not.
Sincerely,
Laurie

I was very sad to hear of the passing of my Auntie Joyce. She was a fine, sweet lady. We last saw each other when she came to the States for a visit in June 2014. We both made a few trips over the Pond in recent years and enjoyed each other's company. Even though we were separated by distance, we were close at heart. In between visits, we kept in touch by telephone, letters and cards. Joyce was an avid traveler and I will miss receiving her postcards. I know she now has traveled to her heavenly home and she has heard the words, "well done, good and faithful servant".
