In Loving Memory of, Terry Clark, 75 (20.03.1939), who sadly passed away 24th August 2014

Husband to Lesley, father to Lisa and grandad to Connie
Missed always

"He never looks for praises
He's never one to boast
He just goes on quietly working
For those he loves the most
His dreams are seldom spoken
His wants are very few
And most of the time his worries
Will go unspoken too
He's there.... A firm foundation
Through all the storms of life
A sturdy hand to hold to
In times of stress and strife
A true friend we can turn to
When times are sad or merry
One of our greatest blessings,
The man that we call Terry"

A bright star to all those lucky enough to know him.
We will look to the skies each night to look for him, still.

Terry was one of the nicest people it has been my privilege to meet and know. I am proud to have had him as a friend and work-mate in the Croydon Garage days. My only regret is losing touch over the years and not being able to be there to say goodbye. God bless you, mate, till we meet again.

I didn’t share you with brothers or sisters and I am so very glad. I am being wholly selfish when I say I am glad you was mine and mine alone, and I am glad too that you was Connie’s very special granddad and hers alone.

I love you unconditionally with the whole of my heart. I don’t care about your noseyness, argumentative side or the ‘look’ so like my granddad. I love every inch of you and your wonderfully “do anyone a turn” soul.

I know your reading the paper now with nan, and granddad. A huge cuppa tea… or knowing granddad… a mackinson and mild! That thought brings me comfort.

Someone who has been a rock through this nightmare, recently summed it up. She said… A beautiful person has left this world to join his family on the other side… lucky them!

For everyone whose lives Dad touched, I hope they remember him. Remember his lovely laugh, his twinkle in the eye and his kind kind heart. I know I will remember the biggest gift he gave to me… his love.

A jolly decent old chap and a smashing father-in-law. Missing you, even though you were a stubborn old git.

Come back Terence... the food here wasn't that bad!

Terry worked on the buses with my husband, when our children were young. He was a lovely man, always had a smile and would help in any way he could. I will never forget him. Rest in Peace Terry, you were one of the best. Gone but Never Forgotton.

Terry. A close friend of the family back in the day when we were living amongst one another. A happy and joyful soul who would always be joking and smiling. A good man who will always live forever in the hearts of those he touched. Wherever you are Terry you will be missed.
