Son of William Frank Goddard and Lily Ada Lucy Goddard. (both deceased)
Married to Helen Joan Viney on the 24th September 1955 (Helen living in care home)

National service in the army as a driver on discharge continued driving for some years.
Continued to live around the Tottenham area
Became a builder with a mentor Mr. Trafford
Married mum 1955 and had 4 boys whilst living in North London
Moved to Kidbrook south London in 1968 had his only daughter.
Worked for servo warm for many years as a heating engineer
Later went back to building works and taught Geoff his son a trade which he was very proud of.
Worked his whole life to support his wife and children often 7 days a week with long hours.
Although this hard life took a toll on his health he remained an active man with a love for life.
An extremely dexterous and clever man who could turn his hand to absolutely anything from
Wood carving to electronic.
Loved nothing more than to make people happy and do them a good turn.
On retirement spent the later part of his life immersed in his children and grandchildren and was the focus to hold the family together.
Had different places in his heart for us all and enjoyed our company in very different ways.
