Fond memories of my "mum next door," such a kind lady who helped make my childhood so happy. Thank you, Anne, for your generosity of spirit, it was a privilege to know you. And thanks for the kindness and first aid when mum and dad were out and I had a nasty scrape on the way home from youth club!

I was so sorry to hear of Anne's passing. 'Aunty Anne' was such a significant character in my early childhood. So many memories... She brought a touch of glamour to those years with an array of brightly coloured high heels that we used to play dressing up in. I can't ever recall seeing her without her makeup on, despite the many sleepovers I had - no mean feat! I also remember the calls for my brothers to help 'clear up' after a party... Code for come and eat the left overs! And hey love of birds... From the budgies to the elaborate feasts left out for the garden birds. She was a strong working woman but also a loving mum and kind 'aunty'. She undoubtedly touched the lives of many Ainsdale residents through her church work and her time as a teacher. I have no doubt she will live on in the memories of many! x

My Sincere Sympathy to David and all the family on the sad passing of Anne.she was a well respected and lovely lady by all who knew her.Gone but not forgotten. Love from Val xx

My condolences for the passing of such a lovely lady like Anne was.
I will always have happy memories of Anne making pizza and chips or fish fingers beans and chips for tea when I used to sleep over or just was there for tea. Tropical fizzy pop for drink too....awesome times.
Anne used to let Lindsey and I play in the car....for hours until Suzanne wanted to join in then the novelty wore off hahaha.
Will remember those times always and forever.
