In loving memory of Pauline Henley who passed away on 7th February 2017, aged 56 years. She was much loved and will be sadly missed by her husband Jim and all her family, friends and work colleagues.

Put simply, Pauline was the most amazing and wonderful person, and in my eyes the most stunningly beautiful person on the planet. We had the most fantastic 24 years together leading up to our wedding in September. The picture shows her that day, happy, vibrant and looking forward to the rest of our lives together. Sadly fate had other ideas.

Throughout her short but often difficult illness she bore it all with courage and fortitude, and a determination not to be beaten by it. That's a measure of the woman she was. I will continue to love and adore her, and miss her dreadfully, for the rest of my days.

Donations via this web page, and any received by other means, will all go to Cancer Research in the hope that at some point in the future this dreadful disease can be overcome, and others will not have to go through the same trauma Pauline did.

Please avoid wearing black on the day. It is to be a celebration of a life well lived, not the passing of someone special, as Pauline will remain in the hearts and minds of those who knew her forever.

Thank you
Jim Henley

I visit this page periodically. It still brings me huge comfort to be reminded how much Pauline was loved, but huge sadness that our time together on this earth was so cruelly cut short. My life will never be the same without you but I will try to carry on as you would wish until my time comes and we can be reunited for eternity. I love you so very much xxxxx.
