Saying goodbye is always hard no matter how many times we have to face it. My uncle Barry was one of the good ones and it showed yesterday with so many people joining our family to remember him. He put up a fight until the bitter end against a cruel and spiteful disease and throughout it all he still tried to make us all laugh. RIP uncle Barry, we love you ❤

Remember when my cousin Sandra told me about this fantastic guy that she'd met called Barry. And he was.
He found out that my nickname was La la ( this went back to my youngest brother not being able to say my name ). He thought that this was hilarious, so to get him back, I called home Bo bo, and it stuck ! Whenever we met, it was
'Hi Bo bo - hi La la!

Always a smile, always a joke and always a laugh right to the end of your courageous battle. You have left a gaping hole in the lives of everyone who knew you - we are all looking up to you, as we know you are looking down on us.
