Words cannot describe or comfort the way you all must feel,
Your world everyday moving, suddenly stands still, so surreal,
Memories of your Dad will remain in your heart and your mind,
A gentleman we all loved, funny, unique, one of a kind,
Alan was so special, loved and adored by all that crossed his path,
He had a natural gift that made us all smile and laugh,
We all have memories of Alan we will never want to lose,
Sian ‘hat girl’, Tracey’s disabled friend who wears the platform shoes!
Loving photography and music, artistic, creative and gifted,
All those he loved, in his presence felt happy, content and uplifted,
Smells like his aftershave, photos he has taken and places you have visited together,
Happy memories that will stay with you all forever and ever and ever,
There is no escaping the things that will remind you of his love,
But hopefully comforting you all knowing he is always looking down from above,
Cry, shout and be angry, but always believe Alan will be beside you if you ever call,
Ensuring through life he will be there, without you knowing, to pick you up when you may fall,
As he will still be with you in spirit, in your memories each and every day,
Hopefully a small comfort in knowing that he is truly never far away.
