In loving memory of Lee Roberts who sadly passed away on 31st March 2017
Lee was an amazing man , a wonderful fun loving partner, son , brother, uncle , nephew, cousin and friend ..
Anyone who knew lee even for the shortest of times , had high regard for him , which doesn't surprise me at all , he didn't have a bad bone in him .
He was thrown a lot of challenges, he struggled with MS for 7 years , yet always with a smile on his face , never a complaint. He became increasingly weary a few months back , lost a lot of weight , till he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, but sadly lost his battle to even fight this before he was able too . Given the chance I know he would of give it his all .
Lee sadly passed away peacefully with his loving family around him and his love of elvis in his ear .
RIP Lee , will love you always

In memory of Lee, I had the pleasure of tattooing him a lot recently and it was always jokes .
He was a true gent, had great tattoo ideas but trusted my input also.
I am on the 1st floor of my building so with Lee's mobility issues I hated the fact that he had to take on my stairs every time he wanted to see me but he never once complained.
Such a likeable guy he had me in stitches more than a few times and was looking forward to seeing him again until we sadly heard otherwise. We also go to know and work on Janet and his brother Graham who are a credit to him and his memory.
Rest in peace mate. Was a pleasure meeting u.

I've just found out that Lee passed. Reading all the messages on here from people I knew as a child it's very clear how much Lee was loved and the fact that so many of his childhood friends remained in contact with him. That's because Lee had the heart of a child and when I made contact with Lee several years ago after not seeing him for over 20 years I realised that he cherished his childhood memories so much, he was a real joy and pure of heart and a more genuine person you couldn't wish to meet. I've so many memories, pinching the milk float from George Crocket (down the back entry at Mersey Forge, his fixation as a 7 year old with Smurfs, his action man collection, my god we laughed so much especially when we wre ejected from the Chester Grosvenor for farting as teens. Can't believe I won't see you any more Lee, not in this world anyway. Wish I'd spent more time with you recently. Genuinely heart broken mate. X

I can honestly say that until now, I hadn't experienced such sorrow and sadness from the loss of someone I know. I wish I'd been to see you more often recently, I do regret that but, knowing you, you'd probably just tell me not to be daft.
This has been such a surreal time though and I'm sure it will carry on for some time to come for a lot of family and friends. For me it's a bit like a mini celebration each time I recall some little nugget from the past followed by a punch in the stomach from knowing we won't get to laugh about it next time we catch up.
I've been going through boxes of stuff in the loft that have travelled with me through numerous moves and found some of your doodles and drawings from the days I had the flat including the Jaffa Cake packet and the nosy Copper which you kindly signed and dated, 1992, so I still have my original Lee Roberts.
I'm so glad that I got to tell you recently what an important part of my life you've been, I meant every word.
I'll sign off now mister but we'll catch up again.

There have been so many lovely, heart-warming tributes paid to you Lee. You touched so many people without even trying. Your easy-going nature coupled with your inherent sense of decency made a lasting impression on all those who met you.
Being in your company was a unique feeling and something that I will always miss. Fortunately I have so many good memories to call on. At the moment those memories are bringing tears and laughter in equal measure and I wouldn’t swap them for anything.
My abiding memory of you is captured in all the photographs people have posted of you; that infectious smile of yours.
See you on the other side mate; find us a quiet table in the corner and line up a couple of pints.
