Joy,
I can't believe you have gone, sometimes when the phone rings I still think "that will be Joy"- miss you so much. You were a very dear and special friend and I consider myself blessed to have known you. My heart goes out to your beautiful daughters Poppy and Tabitha and to all those who knew and loved you. May you be at peace now. Love always Jan xx

Joy,
Thank you for being a part of so many lovely memories from my childhood, and for being a friend to my family. Although you will be missed dearly, you will always be remembered - not only for your own wonderful qualities, but through your beautiful daughters. My thoughts are with you, lots of love xxx

Joy, I cannot believe you have gone - you were such a fighter - and you fought especially hard for your girls, Poppy and Tabitha. I know our lives drifted apart a little once our kids got older, but I will always be grateful to you for being a good friend, a superb listener and a right old laugh! Thank you for all those lovely get-togethers when our children were small. We shared many happy times. I hope you are at peace. Au revoir, Joy. X

I was stunned to hear of Joy's passing. We shared so many times together in our carefree student days at UCH, for which I have many happy memories. We stayed in touch throughout the decades, and I am thankful for the friendship we shared. I will keep a piece of Joy in my heart forever.
Our thoughts are with Poppy and Tabitha and the rest of the family at this most difficult time.
Hugs from Canada, Gary x & [Brian x]

  • Dear Garry and Brian, Joy talked often of you both, you made her happy. Joy passing was not a surprise but still a terrible shock. Joy just needed a soulmate but got fed-up of waiting..... I will NEVER forget you?????
