Maureen Mary Jarvis (16 Jun 1941 - 3 May 2017)

Maureen, you were a wonderful, kind and funny lady and your loss is felt deeply by us all. Thank you for taking me into your family and for all you did for me, Kayleigh and Ollie. We love and miss you always, your favourite grandson-in-law Luke x x

It has been lovely to see all of your happy occasions on facebook. To see you enjoying parties and holidays with all your children and grandchildren. You were very loved by all. You even managed to make me laugh at uncle Micks funeral! You will always be in my thoughts. Love Christine xx

Maureen, First of all I would like to thank you, without you I wouldn't have my beautiful wife and children. You were a wonderful woman, always thinking about others first, the love that you showed to your family was unconditional and I always felt an accepted part of that family.
We had a lot of happy times together with Annamarie and our children; Holidays away, parties at our house and days out to lots of various places. I will never forget the time in Weymouth when Anna flipped you of the canoe into the sea and lets just say, the shock of the cold water had a very funny affect on you.
You were always supportive and happy to help whenever we needed it and I will always be grateful for everything you did for us.
It was very hard to see such a vibrant energetic woman lose her independence but I am glad that I was able to do my little bit to help make your last days as comfortable as possible.
You were one in a million Maud and I would like to award you with the title "Queen of funny photo faces"
God Bless you Maud, Rest in Peace and I promise I will look after your Daughter and Grandchildren for ever and ever.

Hiya Mom, I was giggling my head off earlier thinking about you! I was messing about as usual and Richard was cussing me for being silly and all I could think of was how you would roll your eyes at him and we would burst into laughter as soon as his back was turned, I think he secretly played up to it half the time! I feel so proud and privileged that you were part of my life, you gave Richard and I so much love and support as you did for all your children and grandchildren and your strength helped us face so many challenges, I can't thank you enough for welcoming me into and making me part of your family (you're my Midland Mom) I never met John but I loved listening to you talk about him, it was magical and you would almost glow with love, you missed being with him for so long but it makes me smile knowing you are back in his loving arms. You left a deep scar in my heart when you passed away but it is also bursting with love, warmth, countless laughs and happy memories which I will carry with me forever and I will always remain your "Northern Bitch" Rest peacefully now Maureen and may god bless you and all those who love you x x x x

I'll always remember my nan as a kind, loving person who was always there for everyone. She was always the one to have a laugh and a joke and was never afraid to let her hair down for the slightly too occasional party. From my younger life I remember her babysitting me and my sisters, going on the many holidays to the seaside and things like taking me to the bell for a meal as a reward for tackling the ever growing front garden. However, I'll always remember the last new years eve i spent with her, DJing at home with my family, girlfriend and close friends around me, and nan having a boogie even whilst bedridden when I played Elvis. If that doesn't sum up her party spirit, I don't know what will. She will always be remembered for her unconditional love and amazing bargain hunting skills. She always put others before herself, like travelling to see us making at least two bus journeys to bring us the freshest pasties and sausage rolls. I'll remember the time I stayed over at her house and she went off on her shopping trip up to one stop and came back with a McDonald's breakfast for me. My nan was my practically my best friend and I'll be lost without her, but I'm glad she's in a better place with grandad and her favourite dog of ours, Misty! God bless you Nanny Fag xxxxx

Maureen was always happy and helpful very generous to everyone, a devoted mother and best friend to her children. She enjoyed a good laugh and was up for anything for a laugh! She had a fantastic personality, kind, caring and genuine. I remember at Karen's wedding you kept telling my daughter Sam how beautiful her bridesmaid dress was although it was me who was a bridesmaid. I visited you in hospital and although your breathing was very bad and you had been in a while, your face lit up when you saw me. You were worried about your children going to visit you in hospital knowing they were busy. Not a selfish bone in your body! So my angel till we meet again and party hard together, R.I.P. Missed by us all especially your lovely children who have been amazing looking after you, just like you looked after them so well when they were growing up. Love and hugs forever. Maureen, you were my favourite sister in law, and a good daughter in law to my mum, we both loved you. You were a good mother and great wife to my brother John. Hope you are both together again now, you will be very sadly missed, and always in our thoughts. Love always Margaret. Xxxx

Didn't know you were going away if we had we would have come to see you before you went and we could have talked about the old day's. Farm st and being spoiled by you and Nan, everyone has told me that you said i was your favorite nephew well i think you loved us all as much i was lucky being the first in line for your special love , and that love i will always hold dear in my heart. When you met Sylvia you took to her straight away and showed what a wonderful person you were,and we came away from the the shop you had spoiled me again. I remember the times you came to hear me sing with the old man, most of time he would be having a moan about something and you would say take no bleedin notice he's only jealous cus your a better singer than him, i was so glad he never heard you say that he would have made my life a misery . We are both really sorry that we never got to see you over the last few years it broke my heart to say goodbye i only hope you were listening when i sang for you , you will never be forgotten and you leave us with a wonderful family that will stay in our lives for as long as we live,we are so proud to be a part of it. Pass our love on to uncle John sadly missed too.I don't want to say goodbye now just tarra a bit till we meet again we will always love you and keep you in our hearts God bless you Auntie Maureen with love from your nephew Paul and wife Sylvia. Where to start with my nan. Incredible woman who spoilt me rotten whether I was good or bad, made no difference to nan. After school the biscuit tin would be full and a cup of tea waiting for me. On a Saturday morning when I was a teenager I'd be in trouble because I'd stay out all night with friends drinking, but every week nan would say go and get in bed I'll bring you breakfast to sort out that hangover. So many good times I can't list them all but we will meet again nan and party like the old days. You can bring sausage rolls and donuts! Love you always, Jake xx
