Margaret Norma Wilson (6 Jan 1937 - 27 May 2017)

In loving memory of Margaret Norma Wilson who sadly passed away on 27th May 2017 at Braid Hills Care Home after a long illness. Wife of Jimmy, mum to Linda and Gillian and grandmother to Rhiann, Nina, Brenna and Scott.

Norma was originally from Edinburgh but moved to Penicuik in 1974. She had a lot of involvement in the night school at Penicuik High School, Jackson Street School, Jackson Street cafe and 30+ years volunteering in the Oxfam shop. She was a regular with Jimmy at the Penicuik Folk Club for many years.

Funeral service to be held at Warriston Crematorium, Lorimer Chapel on Friday 9th June at 1pm to which all are welcome. No black ties please. Please wear colour/floral as our mum always loved her garden and her flowers. Purple was a special favourite to her.

Family flowers only. There will be a collection for Rockin' for Tots with all proceeds to be gifted to Simpsons Special Care Babies in her memory.
