In loving memory of Marion Gweneth Barton who sadly passed away on 31st May 2017 aged 73 years.

Dear Friends, this is Nigel. I sincerely hope that all of you have now heard about Marion having passed away during last Wednesday afternoon, we have tried to contact as many of you as possible, but given Marion’s extensive network we have undoubtedly missed some of you, in which case I am sorry you have to find out this way.

Marion’s passing was very sudden, but peaceful and she suffered no pain. We are finding it extremely hard to comprehend why she was taken from us so soon. As all that knew her will testify, she was always full of life and energy which she carried with her up until her final moments. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
Your expressions of support and assistance have been very comforting to me, Tom, Michelle, Nichola and all the family. It has been truly humbling listening to so many fond memories you all have of Marion. Understanding how much she has touched each of your lives and meant to so many people is comforting to know that we all have a big ‘Marion shaped hole’ to fill.

Marion didn’t push religion to the fore but she was a Christian, living with Christian values and Christian principles and always prepared to help. As a Family we decided to put this post on her page so that you can add any additional sympathy, condolences and memories of Marion here.

I will also post details of the Funeral arrangements once they have been finalised. One of my problems is trying to find a venue so that we can accommodate all of you.

I will be taking Marion’s Facebook page down following the Funeral, but we will print off all your messages that you post, they will mean very much to us.

Our love to you all. Nigel, Tom, Michelle and Nichola
