Peacefully in hospital on July 18th after a long illness bravely borne and surrounded by his loving family aged 89 years, Fred. The devoted husband of Margaret (nee Oxenham). The much loved dad of Simon and Penny. A dearly loved father-in-law of Mary and an adored grandad of Matthew and Charlotte. A loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Friends please meet on Tuesday August 1st for service in Sunderland Crematorium at 11.00am. All are welcome afterwards to the Chesters for refreshments. No flowers by request. Donations in lieu if so desired to the Alzheimer’s Society. A collection plate will be provided at the crematorium. Loved and remembered always.
