Douglas Scott (9 Sep 1942 - 31 Jul 2017)
Suddenly but peacefully at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, on Monday 31st July 2017 Douglas, Loving Father of Wendy and Murray, Adored Grandad of Jamie Walter and friend to many in Scotland and the Netherlands. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday 9th August at Warriston Crematorium Lorimer Chapel at 10am. Family flowers only please. He will be desperately missed.

I met you in Amsterdam in het cafe t'spuitje about 10 years ago.
We had good talks and many loughs over hour glas of wine.
Douglas my thoughts are with you at your last journey tomorrow.
You will be missed terribly.

Gutted I can't make the funeral on Wednesday. I'm so very sorry. I'll be thinking of you all and sending love and peaceful wishes to Uncle Douglas. Will come to Edinburgh very soon to give you all huge hugs. Loved seeing so many happy pictures of Uncle Douglas and wee Jamie, so cute together! Blessings of love to you all at this very sad and painful time xxxxx

Doug...Peter and Doug both worked for Philips, we kept saying we would have a get together here in Holland....may you rest in peace Doug and our deepest sympathies to his family...
