In loving memory of Brian McDonnell who peacefully died at home on 9th August 2017 aged 69, Brian had requested to be cared for at home by his family in his last week of his life and his wishes were adhered to with the wonderful support from Doctors, District Nurses and Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice at home community Team.
As Brian was a huge personality full of fun and laughter we would like to invite people to join us to Celebrate his Life on Thursday 24th August at East Hampstead Park Crematorium for a service at 15:45hrs. Please Wear COLOURFUL clothes as a way of respecting Brian's positive outlook on life. We are requesting that donations are made on the Just giving Page to Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice and that flowers are not required. There will be an "After party" to celebrate Brian at Pine Ridge Golf Club, Old Bisley Road, Frimley, Camberley, GU16 9NX commencing after the service at approximately 5pm. Please can you indicate if you will be attending as soon as possible so that we are aware of numbers. Please feel free to post any comments, memories or photos about Brian and what he means or has meant to you below. Many Thanks From The McDonnells

Dear Brian I am sorry I could not be there today to say farewell to you but I know you knew I was thinking of you. I remember you being so kind to me when my mother passed away. You and Annie getting the food and wine for her reception and tending the bar, putting a bottle of wine away just for me. Then inviting me for one of your specialities, your Sunday dinner, so good. You didn't mind at all that I fell asleep on your couch through exhaustion and lack of sleep. You both invited my husband and myself for one of your lovely dinners as well. Say hello to him and mum when you see them. You will never be forgotten Brian love Julie xo

I remember you as a young cheeky lad and it seems you didn't change. Sad that we weren't in touch for so many years and when at last I found you and Ronnie you were sadly gone from us. RIP Brian. Thinking of Ann and your family xxxxx

In memory of
a Love one.

To lose someone that you loved so much
Brings pain beyond belief
There are no words to ease you pain
Your sadness and your grief
Of the lost of someone so close, and wonderful to you.
We will be thinking of you on this sad day.

But although he has left this world
He will always stay in your heart
And he will guide you as an angel
Even though he is a part
For love is everlasting
And so are your memories
Your legacy that’s always with you
And so are your memories
To light the way for you.

GOD bless you dad,
