In loving memory of Charles 'Derek' Hughes who sadly passed away at home on Wednesday 9th August 2017 aged 81 years after a short illness.
A gentleman and a gentle man to everybody he met, his smile and easy going nature will remain with us all.
A great Husband for 57 years and also a great Dad, Grandad, Son, Brother, Uncle & friend.
A service will be held at Bobbing Garden of England Crematorium at 1pm on Friday 1st September 2017 and then a celebration of his life afterwards at Michele & Graham's house in Hempstead.
Derek loved colours, so please do not wear all black at his funeral. Something smart casual and bright to remember his smile by !!

We will always have wonderful memories of Derek at the Hughes family gatherings - and there have been many! He was truly an '"old school gent" and always had the biggest smile on his face - such a pleasure to be around.
